GREAT ANATOLİA PROJECT
A TURK RECAİ BOZKURT FROM MALATYA, LAUNCHED ‘GREAT ANATOLİA PROJECT’
1- Can we get to know you first ?
Recai Bozkurt: I’m Recai Bozkurt. I was born on April 9, 1985 in Malatya, Turkey. I am Turkish. I started reading and writing from an early age. I tried to improve myself in the fields of culture, art and literature and still continue. I am a good Galatasaray fan. I am also a boxing, kick-boxing, wushu and muay thai federation individual licensed athlete. I can speak English en German. I am a member of the musical works owners’ association (mesam) affiliated to the Turkish Ministry of Culture.
2-Can you tell us about the details of the project?
Recai Bozkurt: The Great Anatolia Project is a project that I have prepared in 12 years, consists of five parts, aims to serve national and moral values, and was created especially in retaliation for the Greater Middle East Project, whose entire content belongs to me. The scripts and arrangements of all the films in the project, the lyrics and compositions of the songs belong to me, and I will make the regulations for all the films and documentaries to be shot. All logos have made by me too. Even what we will do after 20 years in the project is clear, our entire program is ready.
3- All the compositions, lyrics, scripts and directing will be yours, wasn’t it difficult to produce them all?
Recai Bozkurt: It is not difficult because these are my abilities given to me by God. And I prepared the project with love, nothing done with love makes people tired, I also did it with love, I am doing it.
4- Can you explain to us the scope of the Great Anatolian Project?
Recai Bozkurt: The Great Anatolian Project is based in Turkey and includes the Ottoman culture and art texture, Turkish bravery and Turkish Islamic civilization. Therefore, it will appeal to all Turkish countries and friendly countries that miss the Ottoman Empire. In only one part, 16 films, 8 national and 8 spiritual, and two series of films, 1 national and 1 spiritual, will be prepared and broadcast. Some of these studies will take place abroad.
5- How long time do you aim to complete the Great Anatolian Project?
Recai Bozkurt: We plan to complete the project in 20 years.
6- We follow from the outside, what is the perspective of the project in your country?
Recai Bozkurt: No one who is loyal to the Turkish State and their nation does not see the project as bad, but of course there are those who are not loyal to their state and nation and are in treason. Of course, they will not like it, they will try to prevent it. These attempts do not frighten me, because if you dreamed of the top of the mountain, you will be alone, you will be your enemy, you will see betrayal. As I just said, this project includes Turkish and Islamic civilization, and its dream is the 7th floor of Heaven, the largest Turkish homeland of the universe, and those who do not like this civilization do not like this project.
7- In which countries will your films be released?
Recai Bozkurt: First of all, of course, Turkey. As I said later, the countries of the Turkic World. In the meantime, we will not ignore the demands, if another country wants the right to broadcast, it’s open and we can talk.
8- What do you think about Recep Tayyip Erdogan? After the recent earthquakes, many negativities appeared.
Recai Bozkurt: Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a very strong leader. We are also lucky to be Turkish. He is the blessed soldier of the holy purpose who has sacrificed his whole life for the welfare of the Turkish nation, but continues to try to help the whole ummah. When we think about why Europe doesn’t like him as much as we love him here, we love Erdogan more. As for the earthquake issue; We are talking about a disaster that occurred in 11 cities, 11 cities were almost completely destroyed at the same time. There is no delay in our state here, the state was on duty in 11 provinces at the same time. Rescuers were assembled and led. It is not something any other state can do to experience such a thing in the history of the world and overcome it in a short time like 15 days.
9- There are many different ethnic origins living in your country, I wonder what you think about the Kurds. Is there a state of peace?
Recai Bozkurt: Yes, there are many ethnicities in Turkey because we are the continuation of the Ottoman Empire. We lived together then, and we live together today. The change in the name of the Ottoman Empire or the shrinking of the map did not mean that we would separate, and this situation is temporary. We have lived together for thousands of years. The Kurds are our brothers, our relatives, our neighbors, we are happy together, just as we are with our brothers from other ethnic origins.
10- Finally, the elections are approaching, what will be your choice and what do you think about the elections and do you have a guess?
Recai Bozkurt: Yes, of course, I believe that Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will win this election, and I will do my best to give him my vote and do my best to win, just like all Erdogan fans. I also have a guess, of course, I think Erdogan will win by getting around 60% of the votes. He needs to win for the Turkish and Islamic world.
